Hi everyone, in September 2015 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for the charity HOPE for Children - a charity which aims to improve the lives of deprived street children in East Africa. Being born in Kenya, this place is very close to me and over the course of 2 of the most memorable weeks of my life, I was fortunate enough to climb to the Roof of Africa via the Machame summit route. Whilst on the challenge, I had the opportunity to visit one of HOPE's projects and I was so lucky to meet the children - I couldn't believe how the establishment of Amani Children's Home in Moshi, Tanzania had made such an improvement to their lives.
If you could take a few minutes of your time to donate to the charity by clicking 'Give Now' as the more funds raised, the closer we will be to giving these children a better life and a better future. I believe every child deserves a promising future regardless of race, gender or financial situation and with your help we can make this a possibility.
I am incredibly thankful for being given this opportunity as reaching Kilimanjaro summit has been something I've always wanted to do since I was a child, and after the toughest 6 days of my entire life I'm thankful to say I made it! A big thank you to everyone that has sponsored me - your donations are all appreciated :)
There are still plenty more opportunities to donate - please help me spread the word by sharing with friends and family - thank you! :)
